How To Succeed In Exhibitions Being A SME (Small and Medium Enterpise)?

Successful participation in exhibitions from SME perspective is assessed from several angles:

  1. The first thing to do is prepare your company for the event, it’s not just about paying space to the organizing committee and decoration agency. A team should be selected to coordinate all activites related to the expo.
  2. This team should, prepare the event’s material: videos, product’s release, logistics and sales speech among other things.
  3. Analyze your position in the event: How many companies that belong to your industry will be present? Which of them are customers? which of them are suppliers and which are competitors?. You must settle the message that will be sent to each of them. Is important to develop and communicate it through diverse media, including the stand.
  4. Analyze the profile of whoever comes to your stand. Is possible that a person approaches because needs your product, but if the staff inside the stand doesn’t know how to detect it, they may lose the sale.   6. Keep your product always on hand: an image says more than a thousand words, but a sample says more than a thousand images.
  7. Try to highlight the values of your product against situations as real as possible.
  8. Organize the work day at the expo with the staff, be sure that employees are always with 100% attitude. If you need to rotate staff, do it, so your client will see them fresh  even at the end of the day.
  9. Evaluate the results everyday, don’t wait until the event ends, this way you can change strategy if necessary, based on the experience of the day.
  10. Share information with your partners. Keep the dialogue to know how are they and how improve the experience for everyone.
